Reflections on Meri
I met Meri about twenty two years ago and what a blessing these years have been. I was at a point in my life where I was physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually exhausted. My life had become one of existence instead of fulfillment and joy. I had lost my family; I had lost my health and was truly between life and death. Then, into my life came a fireball of energy, a person of faith, a person of healing, and a true friend. I was scared to death to begin the process of regaining my life, but I have had a faithful companion with me every step of the way. As I began this journey, I had to learn to trust the process. There have been many tears but also as much laughter. I have seen such change in physical as well as emotional self. I have gone from being a person that was afraid to live, to becoming a person that is reclaiming joy in my life. Meri's gift of touch, her gift of intuition, and her gift of knowing when to push and when to allow things to unfold are gifts that I will treasure always. I have been a client of Meri Maccanelli for over 15 years during which time she assessed physical and emotional issues for me and my son.
Meri's gift enabled us to improve the quality of life through effective and caring treatment through massage and other innovative tools.
I was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease called Dermatomyositis in October 2020. I spent 7 weeks in the hospital then 8 weeks in a rehabilitation facility where I had to learn to walk, talk, feed myself and perform basic personal care activities.
